Welcome to my blog. It varies how regular I write posts here. I sustained a 'Traumatic Acquired Brain Injury', and a six month coma from a 'road traffic accident' whilst cycling, in October 2006. I spent the following 4 years (22-26yrs old), in a combination of hospitals and rehabilitation homes. Now, I have been living independently in Surbiton, England since October 2010. This blog begun life in December 2010, as i realised that there are many people worldwide that i want to share experiences with. I know that, as a wheelchair user, I am obviously not as mobile as i wish, so, use the internet to connect to you. I enjoy letting my thoughts represent through type. I type honestly. As numerous readers, as well as email recipients, will understand, I find typing to be very therapeutic. Thank you :)

Heads Up!

Heads Up!

There is always better. There is always worse.

At some stage,  all must learn how harsh life can feel. Everyone is here, and all humans are capable of emotions. Only by feeling such a strong experience can we then live through them knowing that your current feeling cannot be the absolute human extremity.
There is always better. There is always worse.

If you feel positive, always be aware that you could be due ‘a negative’. Such a feeling itself could be considered as a partial negative (‘fear’)!
If you are feeling relatively negative, please don’t forget that you will regain the experience of positives (at the level which you currently experience the ‘negative’)!

If you fear a never ending spiral downwards, then stop, view your current life as ‘Zero’, and remain content at your previous positive experiences (never forget these, you can’t). Review them and just see how special your life has been.
‘How lucky have YOU been?’
Remember and cherish your joyful experiences.
Hold them with pride!
No-one else has experience of your life, or combination of life-events.
Satisfaction, and pride!
Smile
You are no longer spiralling downwards. You are able to understand that there are always opposites. What halted your spiral slide? Can you hold on? Re-use what you can.
Have faith, believe in yourself, recognise your unique abilities. No-one else can experience your life, your joys, successes and experiences.

The problem is, if you regard this measuring system as a scale (a ruler-like, linear scale), you will have limits (or end-points to the ruler scale).
It is easier to regard the issue like such, but we need to recognise that there should be no limits.
Not only the world is round and the Earth is a globe, but even down at a molecular level, atoms of protons and neutrons are measured as circles. Essentially, nothing is linear.
Even if an existence ends, it can be talked of, or considered in the future (it will always remain).

We are now constantly told by all media (Bill Gates’ BBC, and the rest), that everyone must remain positive and happy, in these bad times.
Wrong!
How wrong and harsh is this?
If people want to be themselves, we must let them. We must all remember that total positive/negative experiences will equal out.
If you are feeling down, don’t make it worse by forcing yourself or others to feel such. Or indeed, the opposite, but please have faith in yourself
You will progress to reach a zero, or a positive!
If you feel positive, good, cherish the experience, but make sure it is not ’too’ positive (be aware that you may soon ‘be brought back down to earth’)!
Smile
Remain forever proud
:)
You are just as equal as everyone!

Everyone has a chance!
Be heard.
