One does not foresee an exact time/place of an accident (if one does, it is not a true accident). However an event can still be an ‘accident’, even if it is partly foreseen. These have always been my thoughts, and I continue to hold them after my ‘2006 Bicycle Road-Traffic Accident’.
Partly foreseen by myself, in that I always had a feeling that ‘Cycling’ would leave a ‘negative aspect’ on me. A negative aspect, of an incredible scale, equating all of the positives that I felt I had gained from the activity.
Lockdown? I’m content. I have my gym-bike (‘MotoMed’ pedals)…
To a certain extent, i feel that my entire life has been in a partial-‘lockdown’ since October 2006! I went 9 months without coffee, back then. Admittedly, for the first six, I was in a coma, but still - 9 MONTHS!
As I type this note I have sufficient stocks of the two essentials - COFFEE and PASTA
I say sufficient, but we do not know how long we will be cut-off for.
I feel disdain and embarrassment for the people among us, who held with pride their obscene amounts of loo paper, ‘won’ last week.
Sh*t happens.
Everyone is in the same boat. Selfish greed is DISGUSTING. Shame on you.
Society is so reliant on supermarkets. People are showing how weak they are. Everyone reacts with their basic animal instinct of pure greed, due to ridiculous panic caused by society themselves. Step back. Stop. Regain normal behaviour, and review just how embarrassing and cowardly you have portrayed yourselves. REMEMBER, DO NOT JOIN IN!

I went to local video shop, and asked for batman forever. They got it, and then told me
‘there it is, but you’ll have to return it tomorrow’.
...
I went to the local gym, and asked them to teach me to do the splits. They asked ‘Yes, but how flexible are you?
So, ‘ Well, I can’t do Tuesdays or Thursdays’
(Thank you Bob Mortimer.)

Global advice during this Coronavirus pandemic, is to maintain a 2metre distance from each other. Strange, difficult maybe, but always possible, right? WRONG! Wheelchair users often have no choice where they can position themselves. This new restriction requires everyone else to be aware (which probably isn’t the case in day-to-day society)!
A ‘Match of the Day’ podcast!
Putting a smile on your face
- 'This Time' with Alan Partridge
Alan Partridge shows his colleague how to use a public toilet whilst maintaining upmost cleanliness.
Marissa Nadler - ‘Unearthed’ (bought this morning)!
Covers of songs, but i have not listened to fully yet.
I asked for a glass of water, after my delicious macchiato, this morning. I was shown a cardboard ‘takeaway cup’, the glasses were not being used currently. I hesitated, thinking that most coffee shops use polymer/card cups (non-recyclable). I queried, but was assured of ethical behaviour! To my sheer joy, my favourite coffee shop, Surbeanton, is using these 100% biodegradable, sustainable cups! I am sooooooo HAPPY! :)
