Welcome to my blog. I post on this, roughly once a week (it does vary). I sustained a 'Traumatic Acquired Brain Injury', and a six month coma from a 'road traffic accident' whilst cycling, in October 2006. I spent the following 4 years (22-26yrs old), in a combination of hospitals and rehabilitation homes. Now, I have been living independently in Surbiton, England since October 2010. This blog begun life in December 2010, as i realised that there are many people worldwide that i want to share experiences with. I know that, as a wheelchair user, I am obviously not as mobile as i wish, so, use the internet to connect to you. I enjoy letting my thoughts represent through type. I type honestly. As numerous readers, as well as email recipients, will understand, I find typing to be very therapeutic. Thank you :)

A new perspective

https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/tom-dumoulin-credits-primoz-roglic-with-new-perspective-on-career-as-an-adventure/

The above link explains a related issue, but within professional cycling.

Everyone at sometime needs to step-back. Adjust your view. We are all taught to ‘get in line’, and follow the path. However those who are allowed to ’step-back’, and experience aspects of life, from an alternate angle as well, can treat it as ‘a gain’. Their increased number of viewpoints, allow for a clearer overall definition.

These past couple of years have been incredibly difficult for us all. The one positive from them, is that we have been to yet another ‘viewpoint’, when reflecting on our existence (individually and on ‘humanity’ as a whole).

Infighting, amongst human nations, may seem to have reduced, whilst the entire Globe unites to tackle perhaps this largest unforeseen problem that EVERYONE faces. Forgive me, I may be talking incorrectly, but surely this is a ‘step-forward’?…

No-one is a winner. We all lose together.

Yes there have been mistakes (like BREXIT), which will always happen, but humanity will always recognise errors, learn, correct, and move forward!

Humanity is a whole!

We all face a larger problem of ‘climate-change’, which contrarily, is foreseen. We know it will happen.

It IS happening.

We face greater punishment.

Be warned!

Reality…

Aiming for a ‘Carbon Neutral’ society, is a step.

Only a step.

Throughout most of human history, we have been TAKING from our home.

Before we end-up bankrupt, WE MUST GIVE BACK.

‘Carbon-neutral’ or ‘neutrality’ may stop our take, but

WE MUST GIVE BACK

Humanity must atleast aim to become ‘carbon-negative’.
