Welcome to my blog. I post on this, roughly once a week (it does vary). I sustained a 'Traumatic Acquired Brain Injury', and a six month coma from a 'road traffic accident' whilst cycling, in October 2006. I spent the following 4 years (22-26yrs old), in a combination of hospitals and rehabilitation homes. Now, I have been living independently in Surbiton, England since October 2010. This blog begun life in December 2010, as i realised that there are many people worldwide that i want to share experiences with. I know that, as a wheelchair user, I am obviously not as mobile as i wish, so, use the internet to connect to you. I enjoy letting my thoughts represent through type. I type honestly. As numerous readers, as well as email recipients, will understand, I find typing to be very therapeutic. Thank you :)

drip drip drip

Drip drip. Hello. Drip
I type this week, 'semi-live'. No worries, I shelter from rain in a cafe, as I type this. Yes, obviously I am suitably armed with a cappuccino (and 'almond financier')!

The first note, I made this week, is below. It is a world-cup year, and i like to start preparation as early as possible. It is important to do such. I know that I am English, and I study all potential opposition before the tournament begins. Although many other countries will be investigated, it is important to study...

The flair of Argentinian football...

Hmm
My next note was made earlier in the week.

Rain grimace grin

The note relates to my former joyful grin, that I used to wear during rainfall. I often wear a grimaced face during rain. This is so easy to morph into a grin, which seems to have a positive effect! :)

Thursday morning, I was free, and went to switch my mind off, with no one around, by the riverside. The peace allowed me to think.

I only had one distraction.

Life. Decisions? Learn to trust your intuition. Fate will decide the route for you. What will be, will be. Humans have free will, but one's fate is selected by one's own destiny. Everyone has an individual destiny.

Everyone has the choice of their free will, but we must all beware that we are owned by our destiny. Our fates lead us to our destiny.

It may be thought that I regularly have this time, but obviously not. Rarely, one has the beauty of pure silence, and the time to think about nothing but your own thoughts.

I am glad that I had time by the riverside to consider those thoughts. Cafés are good, but one cannot empty their mind to think.

Which path?

...same destination
