Welcome to my blog. It varies how regular I write posts here. I sustained a 'Traumatic Acquired Brain Injury', and a six month coma from a 'road traffic accident' whilst cycling, in October 2006. I spent the following 4 years (22-26yrs old), in a combination of hospitals and rehabilitation homes. Now, I have been living independently in Surbiton, England since October 2010. This blog begun life in December 2010, as i realised that there are many people worldwide that i want to share experiences with. I know that, as a wheelchair user, I am obviously not as mobile as i wish, so, use the internet to connect to you. I enjoy letting my thoughts represent through type. I type honestly. As numerous readers, as well as email recipients, will understand, I find typing to be very therapeutic. Thank you :)

I draaaaag them out?

G’day
Or, it is early evening now, as I type, so, ‘Bonsoir’. I have made a trip up to central London, today, so caffeine levels hit an early max. I type, a short piece, without power. Dzzzzzzz…

Only three notes this week, so I apologise if I draaaaag them out!

First note, music reference… I admit that I fell into a nasty hole (not literally)! An IPod, yes. Download mp3s instead of buying cds, yes I do. Earlier in the week, I broke my third rule. I downloaded individual tracks, instead of being forced to buy the entire album. OK, most people do anyway, and it is just like buying a single (except cheaper, and you don’t get ‘b-sides’). Hmmmm mmmm…
… So, ‘what is it?’ you ask. I defend myself, after linking to the track. Snow Patrol’s ‘Chasing cars’.

I AM MALE!!!
I know that this song is considered by many (including myself) as a ‘girly track’. It is, but it gets me every time. I like it. My excuse for breaking my rules. Hmmm, well, I downloaded three individual tracks from ‘Snow Patrol’s Greatest Hits’. Other songs were ‘Run’, and ‘Set the fire to the third bar’. This album, is a compilation of selected tracks anyway, so it’s ok. I am ok, right?

My second note. Another fall. I have started using Instagram. As a very ‘2D, visual aesthetics, design educated’ person, I love eye stimulation (long, crazy way of saying ‘graphic designer’). Personally, I have always liked to design for print, although as most of my picture subjects are now drunk before ‘logging on’, I willingly accept that things have changed. Love enters through the eyes (and then drunk. Hot!). My Instagram name is ‘passione_celeste’, referring to my Bianchi road bike. Have a look/follow, if you wish…

Third and final note, was made today, as I sat outside the Soho café, with a treat.
JUST A COFFEE!!!
One must live life, and ensure that it gives the most happiness. Do not waste time planning too much. Shit happens. Life happens. Fate happens. Negative stuff happens. Positive stuff happens. Smile.

:)
