Welcome to my blog. I post on this, roughly once a week (it does vary). I sustained a 'Traumatic Acquired Brain Injury', and a six month coma from a 'road traffic accident' whilst cycling, in October 2006. I spent the following 4 years (22-26yrs old), in a combination of hospitals and rehabilitation homes. Now, I have been living independently in Surbiton, England since October 2010. This blog begun life in December 2010, as i realised that there are many people worldwide that i want to share experiences with. I know that, as a wheelchair user, I am obviously not as mobile as i wish, so, use the internet to connect to you. I enjoy letting my thoughts represent through type. I type honestly. As numerous readers, as well as email recipients, will understand, I find typing to be very therapeutic. Thank you :)

Please Britain, let’s WAKE-UP!

The problem with a smile is that people are likely to think that I have always been ‘like this’. People do not know that I am working SO hard to return. ‘This’ is NOT ‘ME’!

Ok, it is now. Deep breath. Carry on.

Readers of this blog will understand, but one-off acquaintances, or anyone in general public may me view me as someone who has lived my whole life like this… Only the last seventeen years (yes… less than half!)

The next four notes, all represent different examples of a WEAK, FAILING GOVERNMENT.

They just so happen to be examples of how GREED CORRUPTS...

The government wastes £140m on a failed, illegal ‘Rwanda Plan’!!!!!!

By developing an illegal plan, our Government have wasted taxpayers money, which should have been spent correctly on many of the problems we face within Britain. They will then use this as an excuse to dodge out of other more vital jobs!

Lee Anderson’s answer… ‘Just ignore the law’

Conservative Deputy Chairman Lee Anderson proves to be a prime example of Tory weakness. Acting like a baby, who throws his toys out of the pram, his plea to ‘ignore the law’ has been mirrored by other Tory backbenchers!

Esther McVey (‘GBNews’ presenter) moved into cabinet ‘Common Sense Minister’ !

Just 7 out of 23 ministers of the Tory cabinet, are women. They thought they should boost that number, so they let Esther have a title and be an attendee!

I’ll let you work out which political party should not be in power!

Please Britain, let’s WAKE-UP!

Now then, a bit of research that I have done for personal reasons. I wanted to know about some attitudes. I NEEDED to know.

I feel myself going mad, in despair sometimes.

Research was needed...

Fortunately I found a research paper (albeit from USA) which allows me to keep my hope.

American research paper, of 677 peoples opinions. 2021

A warning

As Britain has become more, and more ‘politically central’ (Clegg, Cameron, Milliband… Sunak, Starmer etc), the danger is that we will fall into the trap, as many other European countries have done so already.

Things balance. Opposing extremes will develop.

We must not allow ourselves to be run by ‘Far-Right’ politicians (Suella Braverman is one, she has stated her beliefs, but now escapes to anonymity preparing a leadership campaign). Nigel Farage proved that British people can easily be taken for gullible fools, and he led the success of Brexit!

…Now look!

'Laughing-stock of the world'

We are not a country of ‘Far-right’ believers. Too many of us live with open minds.

We MUST KEEP THEM OPEN!

Richest 1% account for more carbon emissions than poorest 66%, report says

‘Polluter elite’ are plundering the planet to point of destruction, says Oxfam after comprehensive study of climate inequality

‘Oxfam calculates that a 60 percent tax on the incomes of the richest 1 percent would cut emissions by more than the total emissions of the UK and raise $6.4 trillion a year to pay for the transition away from fossil fuels to renewable energy.’
