Welcome to my blog. I post on this, roughly once a week (it does vary). I sustained a 'Traumatic Acquired Brain Injury', and a six month coma from a 'road traffic accident' whilst cycling, in October 2006. I spent the following 4 years (22-26yrs old), in a combination of hospitals and rehabilitation homes. Now, I have been living independently in Surbiton, England since October 2010. This blog begun life in December 2010, as i realised that there are many people worldwide that i want to share experiences with. I know that, as a wheelchair user, I am obviously not as mobile as i wish, so, use the internet to connect to you. I enjoy letting my thoughts represent through type. I type honestly. As numerous readers, as well as email recipients, will understand, I find typing to be very therapeutic. Thank you :)

Nothing is black/white

Appproaching 200K page views! Thirteen years. Maybe a month or two away, maybe just days away from the double century!

Calculator tells me - (200/13)/12 = 1.28

1.28k per month

Very rough estimate for those who trust my rapid mental arithmetic…

Roughly

About 1.28k per month!

640 15 days

213 5 days

Over 42 per day!!!

:)

Music

I found out of the new Julie Byrne (I’m a big fan) release coming soon,  but I decided to also invest in a new discovery (for me).

Bandcamp emails you, informing about release dates, and you can pre-order!

As ever 6music proved to be the invaluable source of new music for me…

Galya Bisengalieva (a Kazakh born violinist)

Things may be bigger or things may be smaller.

They may be heavier, they may be lighter.

Just as nothing is truly 100%, nothing is truly 0%

Nothing is truly black, nothing is truly white.

They only exist as concepts.

There are atleast two opposing factors of everything ‘real’.

Everything is somewhere in the middle.

It hurts me to realise that so few people truly approach issues with an open mind. People say they do, but it seems that very few people recognise the far wide range of possibilities that need to be considered. Many of ‘us’ in Britain may think we know things, but actually we just watch the news. The problem is when people just follow one path, one way of thinking, assuming that every other possibility is false/impossible/wrong. The ever-long problem in the Middle East, is a clash of ‘closed-minds’. There is no right/wrong. Citizens are just living, indoctrinated from past generations with hate towards others. Normal people, just normal people. Onlookers from the rest of the world must recognise this and keep their minds open to everything. Everything is possible.

Anything can happen.

I felt the need to write the above section, because I know for a fact that there are people in this country who happily ‘tarnish all with the same brush’. If you do, please recognise that you are just ‘joining in’!

A ‘right to defend’ could be understood as ‘a right to prolong a war’!

I think that this term is very dangerous, especially as used by the whole world, apart from one country! If defending is attacking (of any kind), then surely no-one has the right to attack or defend?…

Please accept that there is always another way to everything.

It may be wrong, or not be right for you, but it does not make it incorrect for everyone!

Thank you so very much  for your ‘comments’, but please add your name, as I have no idea who you are!
