Welcome to my blog. It varies how regular I write posts here. I sustained a 'Traumatic Acquired Brain Injury', and a six month coma from a 'road traffic accident' whilst cycling, in October 2006. I spent the following 4 years (22-26yrs old), in a combination of hospitals and rehabilitation homes. Now, I have been living independently in Surbiton, England since October 2010. This blog begun life in December 2010, as i realised that there are many people worldwide that i want to share experiences with. I know that, as a wheelchair user, I am obviously not as mobile as i wish, so, use the internet to connect to you. I enjoy letting my thoughts represent through type. I type honestly. As numerous readers, as well as email recipients, will understand, I find typing to be very therapeutic. Thank you :)

Only you live YOUR life

EEEK!
It is later in the day than I intended. I have just set a PB on my Gym-Bike/Motomed! So, apologies if I make little sense!

Angel Olsen

Big Time

More music for you!…Well, for me, therefore you as well! I have promoted Angel Olsen for a number of years, initially back in 2014. More releases followed, but it wasn’t until a super feature on ‘6music’ recently, my love is rekindled!

Previously on this blog … http://patrickgoodacre.blogspot.com/search?q=Angel+Olsen

Love who YOU are.

Don’t be a clone.

Live YOUR life.  We are all different. View this fact as joyfully as possible. Cite an element of you that is unique, remember…

…Remember that your experience is individual. NO-ONE has lived with your exact experiences. How mad/mega/crazy is that?

(Step back, reconsider)

No-one, ever!

What you have is UNIQUE!

Why copy, and follow others like a brain-dead, clone?

Alternative, individuality brings the most into the world, you will receive the positivity/negativity on a similar scale!

Love and be proud of yourself! Only you have the wealth of experiences that you do! YOU are the best prepared at living YOUR LIFE!

Thank you Hannah.

There are different ways to psychologically approach a situation.

Different people  must be allowed to choose different strategies for overcoming problems.

Every life is different. We all should have the chance to approach problems, the best way we see fit.

Humanity will learn and we will all progress.

A personal, longtime hero! David Millar on Instagram today, riding on what were ‘my roads’, where I had my ‘Traumatic Acquired Brain Injury’ in 2006.

Only in social-media of today, do I learn that he used to hold the record around Richmond Park!

Legend!
