If only...
Life was like a computer game!
The entire globe is in a state of turmoil, at the moment. It seems the most apt solution for some to see, watch or even play sports is in front of a computer screen. We have the free time now, and our technology has advanced incredible amounts, over recent years. Advertisers, sponsors, or even Important Social messages, are recognising that audiences are now in-front of a computer screen, not at a live event!

Virtual Ronde Van Vlaanderen
You all should know that I was an avid cyclist. A massive fan of the professional sport, the 2020 road-racing season was just about to kick-off properly, but Italy’s ‘Milan - San Remo’ one-day classic was cancelled due to the big European Coronavirus outbreak in March. Follow-up ‘Spring Classics’ were awaiting eagerly. Unfortunately, as the virus spread globally, more events were cancelled.
Belgium’s ‘Tour of Flanders’ was cancelled. The large event was held but on a mini-scale (only 13 riders rode about 30km). Incredibly, all riders were competing virtually. In reality, they were at home on gym bikes, but competing in a virtual world, in a ‘virtual Tour of Flanders’. Obviously much, much shorter, and less riders, reduced everything. Belgian favourite, and Olympic Champion Greg Van Avermaert, won convincingly.
‘Live’ Music
elbow
An older band (from around ‘my time’), but ALWAYS PROGRESSIVE! Lead singer, Guy Garvey balances his time between hosting his radio show on BBC 6music, and fronting the band. Bravo!
Football.
Fortunately Gary Lineker, Ian Wright and Alan Shearer understand that football is a way of life for a large proportion of the population. There may not be any live football to report on, so the three stars are developing a dream team of all-time, Premiership favourites. Most recently, the team manager was discussed… Available as a podcast, before, in future being presented on TV.
‘Lockdown Life’?
Alive but not living.
A life in suspense is tricky to come to terms with, isn’t it?
It will return, or maybe it won’t. Accept to live like this, it’ll soon become normality. Life happens. S#** happens.
We must continue, we owe it to the future.
No one had planned for this. See that fact positively. We are all able to adapt, but how willing are we to accept the truth?...
If things return, and get better, treat it positively as an improvement, otherwise you will find this as a depressing, ‘lost’ period of time.
I urge you all to participate, and show appreciation of our NHS #clapforcarers

Trampled under foot
So green. Gardens/parks/green areas have been set free and allowed to grow. At all other times, these areas have been stunted by human activity, maybe directly and indirectly. Maybe trampled underfoot or just polluted by car fumes. The Earth has been allowed to breath!
We are all, learning the benefits.
The planet needs a break from human’s ’take-take-take nature’!
