Welcome to my blog. I post on this, roughly once a week (it does vary). I sustained a 'Traumatic Acquired Brain Injury', and a six month coma from a 'road traffic accident' whilst cycling, in October 2006. I spent the following 4 years (22-26yrs old), in a combination of hospitals and rehabilitation homes. Now, I have been living independently in Surbiton, England since October 2010. This blog begun life in December 2010, as i realised that there are many people worldwide that i want to share experiences with. I know that, as a wheelchair user, I am obviously not as mobile as i wish, so, use the internet to connect to you. I enjoy letting my thoughts represent through type. I type honestly. As numerous readers, as well as email recipients, will understand, I find typing to be very therapeutic. Thank you :)

life chooses

You can choose life, but life chooses you.
Whilst it is good for our psychology to aim at correct decisions, and therefore our morale improves. However, it is best to just realise that ultimately, our choice has little impact.

Be content. Live life expecting very little. Beware that s**t happens, equalling all of the potential positives that you will experience. Keep your mental belief that good things will happen because somehow they will. Do not attempt to plan mysterious routes to find these positives. They will find you! Sometimes you may think that you should do something, do not hesitate over it, do it and fate will choose another path for you. Events are destined to occur, whether we like them or not, we actually have little control. Our destinies are not fully pre-determined. Everyone has a destiny but they evolve, altering minimally with time, following everyone's unique path of fate/route of life.

What's the best thing about living in Switzerland?
Well, noticing the flag is a big plus.

A negative positive = neutral
The national flag of a neutral country.

It embarrasses me how amusing i find that joke above. (bold)
I follow it with an interesting graphical comment when considering a white cross on a coloured background.

Initial, basic research tells me that i am wrong. It has evolved from medieval military insignia!

Music, this week, is not a new discovery. By hearing them on the radio, I soon decided that the back catalogue needed investigation.

Hurting Through (released 27/11/15)

I am sooo unbelievably fortunate that I have experience as a cyclist of improving and training my mind and body, working towards targets/realistic goals
You may all be sick and tired of my cycling analogies, but I mainly provide them as analogies. Please use the analogies, applying them to your own stories, recognising the deeper meaning.
