Today is the thirteenth birthday of this blog. It has continued, publishing posts at a range of regularity (weekly for the first decade, until it’s much less-common, current state).

198,723 is the current count of visitors!

Tomorrow is the shortest day of the year.

It is truly mid-winter. This means that most people who read this will probably be approaching Summer!

Whilst the world may be very well heavily weighted towards celebrating Christmas, there are major problems as well. These problems must not be forgotten whilst we indulge ourselves. It may feel like Earth is waving its hand, crying for recognition.

We must realise that we have harmed our home, perhaps beyond repair. We need it, we must love and care for it.
